Over the past year I have had a great experience with contact from Sisleys all over the world.  Specifically those who are decedents of our common ancestry from Jacob Sisley (b. 17__).

To provide the history in its easiest form, I decided to provide both documents in there original format and title them Easter and Western Sisley Histories.  The Eastern Sisley document was the original basis for this web site.  The addition of the "Western Sisley History" was provided  early this year by Rebeckah R. Wiseman rwiseman@ligtel.com.  It was presented in a GENCOM format, converted to a FTM file which produced the copy as it appears on the site.

There is a great deal of duplication of information in the early generations since the Eastern document was used as a major reference. The Western document was edited by Rebeckah  to exclude any names of people who might be offended by  publication of their name on the internet.  If there is anyone that wants to be included or has corrections please let me know vie e-mail jsisley@pacbell.net
